Choose the right build

Most Intel and AMD Windows PCs use x64. ARM PCs use ARM64, while 32-bit systems need x86. On macOS, the same universal DMG supports both Apple silicon and Intel. For Linux, check the processor architecture before choosing an AppImage or a distribution package.

Installers and portable packages distribute the same application in different ways. A Windows MSI handles conventional installation; a ZIP lets you manage an extracted folder. Linux DEB and RPM packages use your system package manager, while an AppImage runs as a single file.

Version and file provenance

The main download link opens this site’s Quark Drive share. Check that folder for its actual files and versions. Upstream GitHub release information is retained below so you can inspect release notes, formats and original sources.

Check the system, architecture and version of the file you select. Only use upstream checksums when the downloaded file corresponds exactly to that release asset. GitHub asset sizes on this page do not describe files in the shared folder.

After downloading

Start with a copy of an image to explore layers, adjustments and export before working on an important document. PhotoCraft is early alpha, so keep source files and save edited work under a new name. The platform guides below explain installation and first launch.
